When Kidneys Fail
Normal kidneys clean blood by removing excess fluid, minerals, and wastes. They also make hormones that keep bones strong and blood healthy. When fail, harmful wastes build up in the body, blood pressure may rises and body may retains excess fluid and not make enough red blood cells. When this happens, the need of treatments is required to replace the work of the failed kidneys. This is one of the ways to survive other than a kidney transplant.
